Profiles in Global and National Awareness and Commitment
Several members of our Form have kindly shared some of the ways in which they and their families have engaged challenges we face both domestically and internationally. In this first installment, the role of the former wife and children of one of our classmates has been especially encouraging.

I am privileged to serve as editor of The Profiles and Issues Section of the SPS70.org web site, and I encourage you to contact me with further ideas for profiles as well as suggestions for other forms of writing (essays, reports, opinion pieces) and art (photography, music, painting, and so on) that engage the questions you feel most deeply about.

My role is to share as much as possible in a casual forum that will be easily accessible. So take a few minutes to let us know what issues you believe we must address. Everything is fair game. We might even have some robust disagreements along the way – which is fine, as long as we all remember Steve Crandall’s dictum that we are always a “band of brothers.” Ideally, from the mixture that develops, we will have a clearer sense of the potential contributions we might make as a form.

Godspeed --
